YOUNGEST MOUNTAINEER TO CONQUER THE G7 PEAKS OF PENINSULAR MALAYSIA
Kuberan A/L Poobalan, an extraordinary 12-year-old, for successfully summiting the Top 7 highest mountains in Peninsular Malaysia within an impressive span of just 7 months.
The peaks conquered include: Mount Tahan, Mount Korbu, Mount Yong Belar, Mount Gayong, Mount Chamah, Mount Yong Yap, and Mount Ulu Sepat.
Hailing from Kulim, Kedah, Kuberan is currently a Standard 6 Senthamil student at SJKT Kulim, where he has been studying since Standard 1 in 2021. At such a young age, his determination, endurance, and passion for mountaineering stand as a powerful source of inspiration.
His journey into hiking began with his mother, whose deep love for nature and outdoor exploration inspired the entire family. Every weekend, she takes her children on hiking adventures, allowing them to experience the beauty of nature while building strength and resilience. Through these journeys, Kuberan has learned to stay focused and motivated even in the face of challenges. Each climb has strengthened his patience, courage, and unwavering determination to overcome obstacles.
