INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVER BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS HONOURS REV. FR. DR. S. JESURAJ FOR HIS DISTINGUISHED CONTRIBUTION TO EDUCATION & HUMANITY

The International Achiever Book of World Records proudly conferred the DISTINGUISHED CONTRIBUTION TO EDUCATION & HUMANITY AWARD upon Rev. Fr. Dr. S. Jesuraj, M.Sc., B.Ed., Ph.D. (Chemistry), Headmaster of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur, in recognition of his 29 years of dedicated service to priesthood, education and humanity.

With 17 years of experience as a Headmaster, he has demonstrated exemplary educational leadership, placing student welfare, inclusive education and holistic development at the heart of his mission. He has supported underprivileged students in overcoming financial and social challenges, encouraged children at risk of dropping out to continue their education, and promoted equal opportunities for students with disabilities.

His commitment to student welfare was evident at Pallangkoil School, where he introduced a breakfast programme even before the Government’s breakfast scheme was implemented. He has also contributed to preserving and promoting the traditional arts of the Thanjavur region by training students and providing opportunities to showcase their cultural talents.

The award presentation ceremony was held on 9 October 2026 at St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur, in the distinguished presence of •Shri S. Babaji Rajah Bhonsle, Hereditary Trustee of Thanjavur Palace Devasthanam, who attended as the Chief Guest;
* Kalaimamani S. Ramanathan, Treasurer of INTACH–Thanjavur Chapter; 
•Very Rev. Fr. R. Joseph Gerold, Vicar General of the Diocese of Thanjavur; 
•Rev. Fr. A. Susai Manickam, Secretary of the Diocesan Education Committee; 
•Rev. Fr. M. Irudhayaraj, Correspondent of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School; 
•Rev. Fr. A. Arockia Samy, Assistant Headmaster of the school.

The programme was meticulously organised by Mr. I. Kulanthaisamy, Assistant Headmaster of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School and Thanjavur District President of CBWR.
